Samsung’s smart ring Galaxy Ring has new developments.
Samsung has completed all preliminary development tasks and plans to start production next month.
It can be seen from the published patent drawings that in addition to the activity and health monitoring functions such as PPG sensors and electrocardiograms, the interactive function will also be a highlight of the ring.
Users will be able to simply interact with TVs, XR devices, etc. by wearing the Galaxy Ring. Pointing, clicking, and sliding are all optional operations.
Since the Galaxy Ring needs to obtain corresponding medical certification, it may take 10 to 12 months.
Therefore, the Galaxy Ring will have to be launched next year at the earliest.
