According to the latest statement, Apple will suspend sales of Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 on its official website on December 21, and further suspend sales of these models in offline retail stores after December 24. The cause was a ruling made by the ITC (International Trade Commission) in October this year, involving a patent dispute between Apple and the medical technology company Masimo regarding the SpO2 sensor.
It should be noted that blood oxygen monitoring services related to already sold Apple Watches will not be affected, and Apple Watch SE without this sensor will also be sold normally.
